Telluride Ski Area spreads across a remarkably varied piece of the San Juan Mountains, from the slopes directly above the Town of Telluride to Prospect Basin, Revelation Bowl, Gold Hill and the high alpine terrain beneath Palmyra Peak.

This gallery is an evolving collection of photographs from around the mountain: ski runs and glades, lifts and ridgelines, familiar views and some less-traveled corners. Some of the photographs also capture pieces of the ski area’s past — lifts that have been replaced, old lift corridors, and other details of a mountain that continues to change.

Located in the southwest corner of Colorado, Telluride’s snowfall is often affected by southerly flowing storm systems.
